Yesterday on the way home from school, See You Again by Miley Cyrus came on the radio. Carter piped in to ask, "Mom, do you like Tana?"
Me: "What?"
C: "Do you like Tana?"
Me: (after some hard thinking in terms of translation) "Do you mean Hannah Montana?"
C: "Yah, do you like Anna Tanna?"
Me: (shocked! How does he know who Hannah Montana is? So we watch Mickey Mouse Club and a few other Disney shows, but not Hannah Montana!) "Not really."
C: (now in tears because I said no!) "But I told Miss Amy today at school that you liked Anna Tanna."

That is hilarious becuase that is what Josie calls Hannah Montana. "Anna Tanna". Maggie is obsessed, I'm sure she's a little young, but Josie picks up on it big time, knows all the songs and everytime we see any Hannah Montana merchandise she gets so excited for Anna Tanna. We have tickets to see her in July and we're all pumped (except for John and Johnny), oh well!
I'm sure Miss Amy loved that.
Okay, too funny! It's crazy how they pick up on things...Kylie is crazy about Hannah, but she has really only seen like one episode...darn peer pressure and marketing strategies.

I can totally relate with being "homesick" for friends and good weather....El Paso has definitely had me on my knees in tears before too.
